The core team manages projects, communications, knowledge exchange and interactions with policy teams from the Scottish Government, supporting researchers at every step of the process.
The team is led by the Programme Manager who acts as the bridge between the demand for analysis and research by policy teams and public agencies, and the supply from research providers.

Alex manages the CXC secretariat and the commissioning of research projects and award of post-doctoral fellowships. He is the key contact between CXC and the Scottish Government.

Kate manages our projects across the economy, business and industry portfolio. She is a geographer by training, with a background in university teaching and research in global sustainable development.
Lucia Lavric

Lucia manages our projects focused on meeting quantitative modelling, such as economic, financial and energy system analysis. She is a former member of the Government Economic Service and has a background in climate mitigation consultancy.
